Aura · Ambient sensor module
Know the air you weigh in.
Temperature, humidity and barometric pressure next to your balance — every value with its standard deviation and number of readings, ready for your uncertainty budget.

Why Aura
Built for the uncertainty budget.
Gravimetric preparation of calibration gases needs to know the air it weighs in. The Aura gives you that air — measured, not guessed, and with the spread of its readings.
Mean + SD + n for every quantity
Each measurement is an average of independent readings (16 by default, up to 200), with its standard deviation — ready for a type A evaluation.
No hidden filtering
No smoothing or filters on the sensor data. What you see is what was measured.
Locked measurement settings
Settings that determine comparability cannot be changed by accident; the device refuses them and says why.
Traceable identity
Each unit identifies itself by hardware facts that cannot be altered: the chip ID of the module and the serial number of its temperature and humidity sensor.
Your clock, not ours
Requested measurements are timestamped by your software, so one clock governs your calibration records.
Stand-alone and secure
No cloud, no account, no app that has to stay online. The Aura works over USB, and the Aura2 keeps logging on its own; its wireless access is read-only.

Standalone logging
Aura2
Logs the environment by itself.
- Logs every 60 s (5 s – 24 h) to a microSD card — also on battery, also without a computer.
- Each log line states where its time came from; an unset clock gives an empty date, never an invented one.
- Wi-Fi as a second, read-only channel: read measurements and download log files from a browser. Settings change over USB only.
- Built-in battery; reports its remaining charge and hours left.
- Status LEDs for power/battery, communication and Wi-Fi.

Simple and direct
Aura1
Plug in, read out.
- USB-powered, no battery, no radio.
- Read directly by the software on your computer — the module used with Kalibra².
- Status LEDs for power, connection and communication.
