Aura1 – ambient sensor for the balance

Aura1 · Ambient sensor

Made for the balance

The air at the balance, read at every weighing

Temperature, humidity and barometric pressure next to your balance, read by GasCatena at every weighing and reported with the preparation.

Coming early 2027

Connection

Plug in and weigh

Compact and powered over USB-C, without battery or radio: a standard USB device that needs no driver. Select it once in GasCatena, under Settings → Sensors, and it is read at every weighing. Your own software can read it the same way.

Statistics

Every value with its spread

Each value is the average of a series of independent readings taken by your computer, 16 by default, reported with its standard deviation and number of readings: ready for a type A uncertainty evaluation. No smoothing, no filters.

Calibration

Traceable to the SI

Supplied uncalibrated as standard, with calibration as an option: by Qualimetric in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, or by a calibration laboratory of your choice.

Weighing

Air-buoyancy correction

Temperature, humidity and pressure at the moment of weighing, for the air density and the buoyancy on the cylinder.

Quality

ISO/IEC 17025 records

The ambient conditions of every weighing recorded with the preparation, where they influence your results.

Independent

Stand-alone and secure

No cloud, no account, no radio: a USB device on your own computer.
