NexChrom in pictures: a tour in ten screens

How does NexChrom look in daily use? A new page shows the complete workflow in ten screens: CDS data straight from the instrument, methods with component roles, calibration with errors-in-variables regression and residuals, mole fractions with their GUM uncertainty, release by a second person, QC control charts and the certificate register.

The screens come from the current development version, with demonstration data. The NexChrom flyer and factsheet are available on the Downloads page.

Introducing the Aura1: a compact ambient sensor with a special purpose

Alongside the Aura2, we are developing a second member of the Aura family: the Aura1. It is a compact, USB-powered module that measures temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure, and reports every value with its standard deviation and number of readings — the same measurement principles as the Aura2, in a deliberately simple form without battery or radio.

The Aura1 has been designed for a specific task in the production of reference materials and calibration gases. What that task is, we will reveal soon.

New software for reference material production — announcement soon

Besides NexChrom, Qualimetric is working on a second software product: an application that supports laboratories in the production of reference materials and calibration gas mixtures. It is built on the same principles as NexChrom: uncertainty evaluated according to the GUM, a complete record of every step, and stand-alone operation in your own laboratory.

More information will be released soon. Register your interest to be among the first to hear about it.

New website: NexChrom and the Aura2 expected in early 2027

Our new website is online. It presents NexChrom, our software that takes gas chromatography data from the CDS file to a reviewed, certified result, and the Aura2 ambient sensor for the balance room.

Both products are in development; the first release is expected in early 2027. Laboratories that would like a preview, or would like to take part as a pilot laboratory, are welcome to contact us.
