NexChrom · GC software for natural gas
Certified gas analysis
From sample to certificate
One application for the complete GC workflow. Every result comes with its uncertainty, its calibration and the person who approved it.
Coming early 2027 · pilot laboratories welcome
How do you know?
A certificate says 86.0 %. NexChrom says why, with the proof on record.
Step 1
From CDS file
Peak tables straight from your chromatography data system, natively or via export. Every file is stored with its hash.
Step 2
To calibrated result
Errors-in-variables regression following ISO 6143, and GUM uncertainty on every mole fraction. No spreadsheets, no copied numbers.
Step 3
To validated result
Automatic checks before anyone signs: QC samples against Westgard rules, results outside the calibrated range flagged. A failed QC run cannot be approved.
Step 4
To certificate
A second person approves every run before release. The certificate is frozen as a PDF, with everything behind it on record.

Calibration
Calibration you can defend
Errors-in-variables regression following ISO 6143, or OLS, WOLS and GLM. Every fit with its statistics, every replicate screened for outliers, every model versioned and never overwritten.

Uncertainty
Uncertainty on every result
Every mole fraction comes with its expanded uncertainty, propagated according to the GUM from the calibration and the replicates. Results outside the calibrated range are flagged.
Quality control
Nothing released without a second look
QC samples on control charts with automatic checks. A failed QC run cannot be approved, and a second person releases every run, calibration model and certificate.

Dashboard
Quality indicators at a glance
One screen for the daily check: runs waiting for review, failed QC runs in the last 30 days, certificates and calibrations due or overdue, alerts by severity and a status light per instrument.
Certificates
Every certificate on record
Analysis certificates frozen as PDF. Reference certificates imported from PDF and checked against the source at approval, with their validity and cylinder in view.

Independent
Stand-alone and secure
Runs in your own laboratory, with your data in a local database. No cloud account, no outside service it depends on.
Accreditation
Validation documentation
Calculation specification, validation reports, test plans and test reports, for the validation of NexChrom in your accredited laboratory.
Data
Your systems, your data
Peak tables from your data system, natively or via export. Results and master data export as CSV, certificates as PDF.
Better together
NexChrom verifies the calibration gases from GasCatena, and the Aura sensors record the air it measures in.
GasCatena
Verifying calibration gases
Prepare your own calibration gas mixtures by weighing? GasCatena guides the gravimetric preparation; NexChrom provides the independent analysis that verifies it: the cylinder analysed against certified reference gases, with its GUM uncertainty, for the En test in GasCatena.

Aura
The air your laboratory breathes in
Temperature, humidity and barometric pressure where you weigh and measure, every value with its spread: for air-buoyancy, pressure and temperature corrections and for your ISO/IEC 17025 records.
Measurement uncertainty
What it is, and why it matters
“Non-negative parameter characterizing the dispersion of the quantity values being attributed to a measurand, based on the information used.”
International Vocabulary of Metrology (VIM), JCGM 200:2012, 2.26
A mole fraction without its uncertainty is just a number. With it, a result can be compared with a specification, with another laboratory or with a certified reference gas, and defended in front of an assessor. NexChrom propagates the uncertainty according to the GUM from the calibration and the replicates, for every component in every run.
Standards
