1 · Dashboard
What needs attention today
The dashboard opens on the work that is waiting: here the prepared gases that still have to be verified, the longest-waiting first. The tab Points of attention lists the due dates of cylinders, balance calibrations and base gases, and the validity of the scope.

2 · Recipe
The uncertainty, before you weigh
A recipe is the target composition. For the balance, cylinder and filling pressure you choose, GasCatena estimates the expanded uncertainty of every component and of the ISO 6976 properties, so you know beforehand whether the mixture is feasible.

3 · Preparation
Step by step at the balance
Each addition comes with its target pressure and the expected weight. A weighing is only accepted when the readings are stable within the margin and the weight moves in the right direction. Shown here with the built-in balance simulation; readings can also be entered by hand.

4 · Result
Composition with uncertainty, checked against your scope
From the registered weighings follow the amount fractions with their expanded uncertainty (k = 2), including the additional contributions your laboratory has set. Every component is tested against the CMC of your scope of accreditation, interpolated to its concentration.

5 · Aura1
The air at every weighing
At each weighing GasCatena reads the Aura1 next to the balance: temperature, pressure and humidity give the air density, and from the external volume of the cylinder the buoyancy effect of every addition, shown and reported with the preparation.

6 · Properties
Calorific value and density, with uncertainty
The physical properties of the mixture according to ISO 6976, each with its expanded uncertainty propagated from the composition.

7 · Prepared gases
Every cylinder on record
The register of prepared gases with preparation number, certificate, cylinder, customer and status. Each record keeps the weighings, the ambient conditions and the instruments used, and can be archived with a reason.

8 · Verification
Verified with the En test
The independent analysis of the same cylinder next to the gravimetric values, judged per component with the En test. The record states where the reference gases of the analysis came from.

9 · Ambient log
The weighing room, logged
Temperature, air pressure and humidity are logged continuously and shown against the limits of your scope, so the conditions of any preparation can be looked up afterwards.

10 · Certificate
The certificate
The certificate as PDF: composition with expanded uncertainty, the ISO 6976 properties, and on the following pages the weighings, ambient conditions and instruments. The certificate documents the gravimetric result; the verification is kept as a separate record with the same preparation. The same record is available as ISO 23219 XML.
